Top reasons why I will never be a food blogger: 1. I don't take pictures of food on wooden floors 2. I've blogged twice in the last month... none of which was related to food 3. I name the foods I make long annoying names that have almost nothing to do with what they are made of On that note, I'd like to present to you the Scottie Pippen Rookie Omelette! Sam and I are on an omelette mission right now and per my suggestion (who am I?) we are naming all of our omelettes after famous (questionable) basketball players. The rookie bit just means it's our first go at this particular recipe. There are reasons the omelettes relate to their namesake, just don't ask me about it. Scottie Pippen Rookie Omelette
Ingredients eggs brown sugar & butter for caramelizing white onions red apples red peppers poblano peppers cinnamon feta cheese Sam was the omelette master, while I put the slices of red apples and white onions in a pan with the brown sugar & butter. We put red peppers and poblano peppers in a pan with some olive oil and cinnamon. After all of the pans were done cooking, we put all of the ingredients inside of the omelettes with a bit of feta. Notes: If we were to do this again, we would have cooked the apples less than we did this time; we would have added them after the onions were almost cooked. We also want to experiment with red onions.
